How many days left before I will become
30?
Actually, I have been dating with my boyfriend for 7 years. He
is the same age as me. I first met him at the party of my previous English
conversation school on August 20 in 1995 .
People sometimes ask me when I
get married. Every time they ask me about that, I always answer,
"I don't know".
But, I think it is time to make a decision.
Before I will become 30....
The countdown has already started.
I was talking with him about that for a long time last night. It took for one hour and a half.... by telephone.
He and I hate a wedding reception.
Do you know why?
Because it is boring!!! We don't want to listen to
someone's long speech. It SUCKS!
He doesn't want to have a wedding in
Japan but in US or in Canada.
I don't know why.
Anyway, I
ordered a PC do-it-yourself kit a couple days ago on the Internet,
then now I am waiting for that.
This is a new PC speculation;

I don't like a nerdy person because I
think he thinks about something extreme.
What kind of topics should you
not talk about in your country?
I think it is up to you what you think about. But, there are some things that people don't talk about because it is not so good for expressing your opinions, otherwise you are going to make trouble.
I know Japanese don't discuss about many
things. Do you know why?
Because we are afraid of making trouble. We want
to make peace.
I think most Japanese think about social problems or the Japanese government. Nobody is satisfied with these situations, but...
What do you think about terrorists?
I don't want to have
contact with them... because I don't want to get involved.
I don't want
to fight anybody.
He has a web site, and he has the bulletin board to debate about Japanese society, but he was complaining about nobody joined the forum. In his opinion, "The Cheat is going to be a winner." I think it was just an extreme argument. When I was listening to him, I became so tired. I felt like I wanted to escape from there immediately at that time.

After the final class of the 4th crew at the
welfare center nearby my house, I heard that my temporary agency sent
there the estimate for the aged club computer class.
They were surprised
at the estimate was expensive because they didn't know the market price.
The estimate is probably included the commission for the temporary agency,
that's why it was expensive.
Then I said, "I hear we don't have to
call up my temporary agency about the extra computer class. We don't need to
excuse the company."
"So we can make a direct contract with you?" "Yes!"
I am going to give them the price table soon.

I decided I am going to take MOUS Access 2000
examination on September 15. If possible, I want to try "MOUS Master".
In Japan, to be a MOUS Master you have to pass "Excel Expert", "Word
Expert", "Access", "PowerPoint" and "Outlook" of the same version.
Sunday, August 4
I took
Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) examinations today. I took
"Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2000" first, "Microsoft Office Word 2000
Expert" second, and "Microsoft Office Excel 2000 Expert" last.
I was so
tired because I took 3 exams in one day.
What were the examination results? See below!
EXAM | Required Score | My Score | GRADE |
|---|---|---|---|
| Microsoft Office 2000 PowerPoint | 840 | 921 | PASS |
| Microsoft Office 2000 Word Expert | 700 | 933 | PASS |
| Microsoft Office 2000 Excel Expert | 710 | 1000 | PASS |
Actually, I didn't know that PowerPoint required score was 840 until just before the examination. After I heard that, I thought "It is impossible!" but all the exam scores were over 900! especially Excel Expert was perfect!! After I finished the exam, I was surprised at the number "1000"

Before my class at the aged welfare center near my house, the staff asked me to have a computer class for the aged club and how much the price would be. They said they are all beginners and nobody knows how to deal with computer troubles, so they were looking for the person who could do that. I had no idea because it was sudden, so I asked them to call up my temporary agency.
When I called up my temporary agency in the evening, they said, "Well, we had one telephone call from the welfare center that you visited. Now we starting to draw up the estimate. Thank you very much"
Actually, I can get there in only five minutes by
bicycle from my house. It is the neighborhood!
so if they need my help, I
can help them at once. I think that's the good point.
I guess everybody thinks I am a good teacher...? I don't think so....
At the first day of the IT class there, I had a gray suit. I was there at the previous IT classes as an assistant so he whom is in charge of the welfare center knows me very well, but he said, "I didn't notice who you were at the moment." I said, "I am pretending to be a teacher though..." "But you are a teacher!"
He knows my web site. He said my web site is great and I am an expert in computers.
