Move to the US?

June 30 2010 22:55

one person told me that I should move to US. I've heard the same thing from the other people, too. But how to live in US longer? If possible my work must be translation into Japanese to share with others who are not good at English... get married with American guy? if so do you know somebody for me?

Heck Yoshie, don't waste your time marrying an American. Just sneak in, 10,000,000 other people can't be wrong. ;-)

It doesn't take long if you know people willing to vouch for you and you have a job or buy an existing business. You hire an immigration attorney and within a few months you're legal. Or...just sneak in millions of others do.

I'd prefer you do it legally............and as for marrying an American guy........well, good luck finding a good one. It seems like most of the good ones are spoken for. There are a few left though. You just have to be patient.

Yoshie I know many people including those not from Japan that have worse skills than I have *EVER* observed in you personally, and they do really well here especially the undocumented ones (you'd really have no problems immigrating if you w...anted)..

Just make sure whoever if you did mary someone that it would be someone that wouldn't frustrate you and you wouldn't want to kill... That would not be a good way to stay in the U.S. longer.. (SMILE)

    Ditto what Don says.
July 1 2010 0:29 Kevin Spencer Don't try to overthink it, Yoshie. You'll pick up English really quick just be immersing yourself in the culture (for lack of a better term). Besides, you already know enough English to get by. And you never know; you might want to go back to Japan after awhile, and if you married an American guy just to stay here, you'd have that to deal with! Get a Visa if you want to come, stay awhile, and let the next step happen when it happens!
