Have You Changed Since You Were A Child?
In High School
I entered a women's school so nobody who used to bully me was in the same school. But I was still self-conscious. I always worried what they were thinking about me. Even if I could make friends, everyone ignored me later. I was disliked by everyone.
They had been ignoring me, and they were always whispering bad things about me.
Just before the graduation ceremony, I started working at Denny's near my home as my part time job. I wanted to work in the kitchen to wash dishes because I was very afraid of people. However, the manager got me to work as a waitress because they'd been short-staffed.
In Junior Collage
Thanks to working at Denny's, I overcame being afraid of people.
One day, the guy who said the cruel things to me in junior high school, came there as a customer with his friend. I didn't want to go to the table, but that's my job. When I brought some water and towels, he said. "You have changed, huh?" When I said "Here you are" to give him a towel, he accepted the towel.
I had a great time during working at Denny's because everybody was kind and friendly.
A friend of mine since high school was Christian, so she invited me to a church to meet up. I met my first boyfriend at the church.
